A 350ml travel cup in matte black powder coat, built the way a flask is: 304 stainless steel, double-walled and vacuum sealed, so a hot drink stays hot and a cold one stays cold without the outside sweating. Its maker rates that at six to twelve hours; we haven’t put a stopwatch on it ourselves.

The lid twists off and has a red flap to drink through, and a braided rope loop clips to the ring on the collar — leave it on to hang the cup off a bag, or unclip it and it is a plain cylinder again.
